Acer platinoides 'Crimson King'

Large leaf, purple leaved maple. This unique tree will reach a maximum height of 12m and will tolerate most soil types. This tree will thrive in a full sun/partial shade position.

Acer x freemanii 'Celebration'

An upright conical habit, erupts into a dense green canopy in the spring. Reaching a maximum height of 15m this tree transitions into a display of yellow and red as it prepare to shut down for the winter. Will tolerate most soils and requires full sun/partial shade. 

Betula nigra

The river birch or black birch as its commonly known, is a deciduous tree reaching a mature height of around 16m. The flaky bark makes this an attractive tree even during the winter. Although this tree is adapted to wetlands and floodplains, it will be more than happy in most soil types but does need to be in direct sunlight.

Carpinus betulus 'Frans Fontaine'

Reaching a height of around 10 meters, this narrow hornbeam offers the canopy of a Carpinus, with a dense smaller structure, idealwhere space is limited. The foliage will transition into a golden yellow colour in the autumn, retaining much of its foliage until the following spring. Will thrive in most soils, and will tolerate wetter conditions than most. Full sun/partial shade. 

Catalpa bignonioides

An ovate crown reaching height and width of around 10 meters. The indian bean tree is best know for its large, heart shaped leaves. Individual leaves can reach an impressive 25cm in length with a lime green colour. White flowers compliment the foliage in the summer, turning to narrow pods towards the end of the season.

Populus simonii 'Fastigiata'

A narrow,  fast growing tree, reaching an ultimate height of around 10 meters. Often used for screening, this poplar will thrive in a wet soil in full sun. Dark green, ovate leaves, appear in early spring often before most neighboring trees. 

Prunus padus

The bird cherry is a deciduous tree, with ovate green leaves. It can reach heights of up to 12 meters and will thrive in all soil types. Long pendants of white flowers produce a stunning display in late spring. These flowers turn into small, red fruits during the summer, followed by the foliage turning a golden yellow in autumn.

Pyrus cal. 'Chanticleer'

This ornamental pear will reach a height of around 12 meters. A narrow deciduous canopy produces clusters of white flowers in the spring, as the green, ovate leaved canopy develops. Tends to have a very conical habit and often produces a display of red and orange foliage as the tree shuts down for winter. 

Sorbus aria 'Lutescens'

This common whitebeam will achieve a maximum height of around 10 meteres. Leaves emerge in spring as a silvery white colour and gradually transition to a greeny/grey. The canopy is complimented with white flowers in may, that turn into orange/red berries in the aumtumn. Requires a well drained soil, and prefers a chalky loam but will tolerate any soil that doesnt get water logged. 

Sorbus aucuparia

The rowan a deciduous tree with a loose canopy. Reaching a maximum height of around 10 meters. Pinnate leaves emerge either side of a central vein joined by clusters of white flowers in late spring. These develop into orange/red berries in early autumn, perfect for feeding the birds through the winter. The tree will thrive in a light, well-drained soil, it will tolerate a heavier soil. 

Sorbus aucuparia 'Cardinal Royal'

A compact and upright tree reaching an ultimate height of around 10 meters. Creamy white flowers compliment the deciduous, green canopy in late spring. These develop into bright red flowers in autumn, perfect for feeding the birds through the winter. Although it will prefer a light, well drained soil, this mountain ash will tolerate all soil types. 

Sorbus auc. 'Sheerwater seedling'

This mountain ash is a deciduous tree with oval crown. Its green canopy is complimented by white flowers in the spring. These develop into orange and red berries that provide food for the birds into the winter. Foliage turns an attractive orange as the tree shuts down for winter.
