A number of factors, make our trees unique.

UK grown

Many trees in the UK are imported from abroad where faster growth and often cheaper labour makes for a much better bottom line. This faster growth, in more favourable conditions does not prepare them for the weather conditions we experience here. It also takes custom away from the UK horticultural industry, which is already struggling to compete.

Peat free

Our bespoke peat free mix, allows us to control the growing media we use to produce our trees, without destroying peat bogs all around the world. We can manipulate the conditions to produce the best root system, giving the tree the optimal balance of nutritients, as and when they need them.

AirPot technology

Growing 100% of stock available for sale in 'Air-pots' guarantees your tree has the best start to life. The design encourages root growth towards air holes. The tips are then dehydrating, causing branching. This happens over and over, creating a thick structure of fibrous root ready for fast and successful establishment. The days of thick, spiralling roots are in the past.
